Day 2 – The heart of Paris tour & afternoon Versailles
This tour centers around Ile de la Cité, the tiny island on the Seine River that’s considered the birthplace of modern-day Paris. It’s here that a small Celtic settlement created over 2000 years ago grew to become one of the most beautiful cities in the world. You’ll start the tour with a delightful stroll along the Seine, seeing lovely sights and learning about Paris’ history. Along the way, you’ll see the Pont Neuf, the oldest bridge in Paris, and the enchanting Place Dauphine. You’ll also explore the atmospheric streets of the Latin Quarter before reaching the majestic Notre Dame Cathedral. It’s still being restored after the fire that hit it but can be admired from close enough to appreciate its beauty. Among the highlights of this tour is Sainte Chappelle, the sacred building erected by Louis IX to house his relic collection and widely regarded as Paris’ most stunning church. Your skip-the-line ticket will quickly get you inside, where grand vaulted ceilings and mesmerising stained glass windows depicting biblical stories await you. After the visit, the tour ends with a scenic river cruise to admire Paris from a unique angle. In the afternoon, reach a designated meeting point. During this half-day tour you will see the best that Versailles has to offer without having to wait in line ! We will take you back to the Golden Age of France with an afternoon at the Palace of Versailles. Day 3 – Louvre Museum

Your guide will lead you through the galleries of this extraordinary French institution and explain the changing face of the Louvre through its architecture and design . You will marvel at the iconic glass pyramid and admire masterpieces from artists such as David, Géricault, Delacroix and Leonardo da Vinci himself. You will see the most famous artworks: the Venus de Milo, the Winged Victory of Samothrace and the Mona Lisa, painted by da Vinci at the beginning of the 16th century. Day 4 – Train to Strasbourg
Independent transfer to Paris Station to board your high-speed train to Strasbourg, where you will arrive in about 2 hours and 15 min. Upon arrival, private transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Strasbourg.

Day 5 – Pearls of Alsace
Located between the Rhine River and the Vosges mountains, Alsace is a unique blend of French and German cultures. This tour takes you to some of the most beautiful spots in the region, starting with Colmar, an attractive Alsatian town with an enchanting network of canals crisscrossing the streets and reflecting all its colourful half-timbered houses. You’ll tour its beautifully preserved old town and most significant landmarks before continuing to Eguisheim, a storybook village with narrow streets and colourful half-timbered houses bursting with flowers. Next, you’ll get to Riquewihr, a picturesque town surrounded by ramparts and brimming with ancient monuments that seem untouched by time. After some free time for lunch, you’ll take a panoramic drive along the Alsace wine route, France’s oldest, lined with historic castles and wineries. Then it’s off to Haut Koenigsbourg Castle, your last stop on the itinerary. It’s a grand 12th-century estate perched high on a rocky spur which you will explore with a guided tour. Day 6 – A gourmet walking tour of Strasbourg
The Alsace region has a unique culinary identity that combines French and German traditions. On this guided tour of Strasbourg, you’ll get to explore Alsatian flavours and local specialties while learning about the town’s history and culture.
