Pavillon Faubourg

Home > Hotels >  Pavillon Faubourg

The Pavillon Faubourg Saint-Germain was completely renovated in 2021, adding a new chapter to its long history dating back to 1642. Much later, in the 20th century, it became a favourite place for artists. James Joyce, Léo Ferré and T.S. Eliot have all left their mark on this magical place.

Pavillon Faubourg Saint-Germain has undergone extensive renovation and was previously Hotel Le Saint. The hotel is owned by the same family that owns Pavillon de la Reine and Pavillon des Lettres. The hotel has the best location on the Left Bank, right on the corner of Rue du Pré aux Clercs and Rue de L’Université, just a few steps from Saint-Germain-des-Prés church. This is one of the area’s most beautiful boutique hotels, with a new restaurant, Les Parisiens, and a cocktail bar. With its large windows and whitewashed walls, the hotel is light, airy and very comfortable. There are 47 rooms and suites, a spa with a small plunge pool with jets, treatment rooms, steam room and gym.  About half the rooms in the hotel maintain the original classic traditional look, and the other half have a more modern feel.  This will give guests a choice depending on their taste and the style that appeals to them. There will be many family-room options. With the wonderful service and warmth of the Pavillon team, this new hotel on the Left Bank promises to be one of the most sought-after hotels in Paris.

Rooms

It is the spirit of a place where one feels immediately at home, where classic meets modern and where the accuracy of the detail prevails over the superfluity of the decor. Spacious, quiet and bright, the 47 rooms and suites are a haven of peace and offer a typically Parisian atmosphere. They are composed with the surprises of the architecture. The layout evolves according to the volumes. The charm is undeniable. The Classic room transports you into a typically Parisian universe, which can be found in the Superior rooms, as well as in the Deluxe, Junior Suites and Suites. Comfort is omnipresent, palpable. The range of colors is soft, easy to appropriate. The view of the facades and rooftops of the neighborhood gives one the confused feeling of owning and belonging to Paris. Here you can taste the salt of the city. Among the 47 rooms, 14 have been redecorated by Didier Benderli in 2022 (2 Classics, 7 Deluxes, 4 Suites and the James Joyce Suite).
