Fattoria Svetoni was commissioned by Pietro Leopoldo at the end of the 18th century and ended in the mid-19th century. In 1865 the Svetoni family began producing wine. After a few changes of ownership, the “ideal farm” and its 23 hectares of vineyards were acquired in 2017 by Podere Rubino Srl. That’s the beginning of a real bet: six friends, who share a love for wine and for this land, decided that they wanted to create a place where tradition, modernity and beauty can coexist. The lands surrounding Fattoria Svetoni have been named “the paradise of well-being”, because of their ancient springs of thermal water: Bagno Vignoni is certainly one of the most fascinating thermal villages, with its famous tub in the centre of the town, whose vapors create a spectacular atmosphere at sunset. The Villa, built in the late 1700s and founded in the early nineteenth century as “Leopoldina”, houses nowadays an intimate resort with twelve elegant rooms and everything you need to spend a wonderful stay surrounded by nature, wellness and authentic flavors. The large gardens, the olive grove, the vegetable garden and last but not least the vineyard that produces the wine of Fattoria Svetoni, will make it possibile for you to experience the authenticity of the Tuscan countryside firsthand. The swimming pool and wellness center with fitness room offer an opportunity for complete relaxation and self-care. The winemaking side of the company – that has been producing wine since 1865 – transforms a simple holiday into a fascinating “wine experience”.
