Just thirteen kilometers from the center of Parma arises Corte Finzi. Nestled in the colors and scents of the Parma hills, the stables of this rustic eighteen century stone farmhouse have been transformed into an intimate and warm guest house in the heart of the "food valley" known as Val Baganza, home and farmland of Parmigiano Reggiano and Prosciutto di Parma. The history of this property began in 17th century when a part of the land confiscated from Ranuccio Farnese by the counts of Sanvitale di Sala, after the conspiracy of 1612. It thereby became a part of the properties of a wealthy family in Parma named the Paroni, who remained its owners until 1801. On January 5th, 1927 Emilio Finzi purchased the property, which has remained in the family ever since, and over the years has been completely restored and enhanced to become a landmark in Italian hospitality.Every detail and element is scrupulously overseen with passion and respect for the region's culture.


Four double rooms, furnished in natural materials and earth tones of the colors of the surrounding nature resound through the ample windows.  To provide the guests with the optimum requirements for a good night sleep the staff focused on the selection of natural materials only . The rooms are equipped with air conditioning, heated floors, free Wi-Fi, TV, hair dryer, towels and bath products. The duvets are filled with natural memory foam.
