Get out of town to explore the Manhattan of the Middle Ages and a charming Etruscan town

After picking you up from your hotel, a private driver will take you on a journey through the heart of Tuscany to visit two beautiful Tuscan towns rich in artistic jewels and architectural wonders. San Gimignano will charm you with its stunning skyline of medieval towers set against the Tuscan hills (hence the nickname of medieval Manhattan), the highest of which is open to the public and offer exceptional views over the surrounding countryside. Its well-preserved centre features quaint cobbled alleys, stunning medieval buildings and pretty shops selling local delicacies and Vernaccia wine. You will visit also charming Volterra, an ancient town of Etruscan origins famous for its peculiar urban layout and the production of alabaster products. Not to miss is Palazzo dei Priori, Tuscany’s oldest town hall. Included in the tour is a traditional lunch in a local farm and a wine tasting session in a family-run wine estate.
