Start the day driving through the French countryside dotted with chateaux and sleepy villages and reach the Médoc wine district, scenically located between the Atlantic coastline and the Gironde estuary. You’ll then cross the river and continue the tour to Saint Emilion, another prestigious appellation in the Bordeaux area, where the dominant grape is Merlot. You’ll visit another prominent wine estate for a tour of the facilities and a guided tasting, then you’ll go on a guided stroll through the cobbled streets of the medieval village of Saint Emilion.
