Starting from "Palazzo della Pilotta" a complex of edifices in the heart of the city you will visit the famous wooden "Farnese Theatre" one of the largest Baroque theatres in Europe. Your walking tour will continue to Piazza del Duomo for the visit of the Cathedral and the Baptistry (outside only). For more than 900 years, the cathedral of Parma is a place of art, history, and sacredness. The Cathedral houses the bas-reliefs by Benedetto Antelami, the romanesque art heritage, and the grand frescoes by Correggio.
