Hike & Picnic on Monte Finestra

Designed for experienced hikers, this exciting trail begins in Cesarano, one of the 13 hamlets that make up the municipality of Tramonti, and climbs gradually upwards to the summit of Mount Finestra (1138mt./ 3733ft asl), revealing striking views stretching as far as the mighty Vesuvius on one side and the Bay of Salerno on the other. Once you reach the top, you’ll take a break to enjoy the unspoiled natural beauty of the area and relax with a tasty picnic before continuing on minor roads and mule tracks that takes you back to the starting point.
