Stroll around and enjoy some of the best views in town, from the Ponte Degli Sbirri or the famous Trepponti, the symbol of Comacchio. Visit the historic Manifattura dei Marinati, the pickling works, completely restored into whole working order; see the "Sala dei fuochi" with its 12 fireplaces, where the eels are roasted on spits before being marinated. The pretty 17th century Fish Market attests to more seaborne activity and still sells the daily catch.
The Comacchio Lagoons are also one of the most important wetland areas in Europe and the main attraction of the Po Delta Park.
A paradise for naturalists, biologists, scientists, and birdwatchers. A dozen species of birds find shelter here, like the pink flamingo.
