Your walking tour includes the visit to the former fortress called “Het Steen”, the former butchers’ hall, the main square of Grote Markt, and the Cathedral of Our Lady (outside), which has the highest tower in the low countries. Continue to Pie Alley (Vlaeykensgang), a little medieval alley, renewed in the 1960s, and Green Square, the former graveyard of the Cathedral of Our Lady. The tour ends with the visit (outside) of the “Boerentoren”, the “Bourla theatre” and the famous shopping streets nearby.
